Grains Lower at 7:15 a.m. CST
Corn futures are expected to open 3 to 5 lower; soybeans steady to 2 lower;
wheat 5 to 7 lower.

General Opening Call at 7:15 a.m. CST: Corn 3 to 5 lower, Soybeans steady to 2
lower, Wheat 5 to 7 lower.
7:15 AM e-CBOT: Corn 3 1/2 lower, Soybeans 1 lower, Wheat 5 1/2 lower.
GENERAL OPENING CALL at 6 a.m. CST: Corn 2 to 4 lower, Soybeans 8 to 10
higher, Wheat 3 to 5 lower.
6:00 AM e-CBOT Corn 2 3/4 lower, Soybeans 8 1/2 higher, Wheat 3 3/4 lower.
Grain contracts were mostly mixed overnight with soybeans once again finding
solid buying interest against outside market pressure as energies and Dow
futures were weaker, while the U.S. dollar was higher.
OUTSIDE MARKETS The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 93.87 points lower
Thursday at 10,332.44. The overnight session saw the Dow Jones futures trade 23
points lower, indicating the market could see continued selling interest
Friday. Asian markets were mixed with the Nikkei down 51.79 points. European
markets were also mixed. The overnight crude oil market was $.32 lower at
$77.14 while Brent crude was $.10 lower at $77.54. The December gold contract
was $1.50 lower at $1,140.40 while the U.S. dollar index is 0.241 higher at
75.534. Soybeans at the Chinese Dalian Commodity Exchange were higher while the
Malaysian palm oil market was also higher.
